This is not our first visit to this chippy, but we wanted to give a shoutout to the excellent customer service we received. Last week, our order was incorrect, but after reaching out to the shop's Instagram page, they quickly addressed the issue without any hesitation. I provided evidence of the mistake, and today they replaced the meal. I want to make it clear that I am not trying to take advantage of the situation for freebies, as some may do. I have to say a massive thanks to the staff in lyppard fryer after they went beyond and beyond for me today. I asked for a medium-sized cod and chips and was said it would be 5 minutes since they roast the fish fresh (excellent! . I said I would have to wait in my car as I am disabled and can 't stand for long they actually came to my car to give me my order, and the young lady told me that she had also thrown my fish too big without additional costs. such random acts of quality deserve recognition, so thank them all for their amazing service and the kabeljau was nice too big for me, but bonny the labrador was more than happy to help with its consumption!
we only ordered to eat, not in the camp, so can not speak on the staff or the grounds themselves. the food was excellent, all freshly prepared and piping hot. our only question was that we were asked for a mixed kebab and in the options further down we were forced to select only one kind of meat. we thought maybe someone there will read the order and see that we have selected mixed, but unfortunately we only got the selected meat and not a mixed kebab. no big problem, was still great and we will use this chippy again! just wanted to mention to make the owners aware and possibly adapt their selection on the app! thank you!
We ordered a Cod and Chips and a Chicken Kebab with chips at this restaurant. We have been loyal customers for almost 3 years and never had any complaints until the last 3-6 months. Lately, our orders have been incorrect with items missing. The last time I ordered a chicken kebab, the meat turned out to be lamb instead. The receipt was even marked on the bag, so it seems like no one bothered to check or care. This has happened too many times for our liking. Despite the occasional errors, the portion sizes are decent and the staff are generally helpful. I did not return to see if they would offer a free replacement.

On Friday we ordered 2 fish and chips and a battered sausage and chips for delivery. It came and we had 2 chips and no fish and 1 battered sausage on its own so no chips. Order very wrong! I rang them and explained what was wrong and the reason for the 5 stars is within 20 minutes the correct order was redelivered. It initially went very wrong, but what mattered to me was how they sorted it and I can't fault them for that. Errors get made but when someone responds immediately to sort it, that's good customer service, so for that reason still 5 stars. Food was superb on the correct order!
First time here and was fine. Food was lovely. We had 2 kebabs and battered chips. Cost just over £17 and yeah it’s a tad expensive but I guess it’s how it is today with inflation Place is easy to find. Very clean. Always busy. Does take away and delivery and if I’m honest my only one down side about it is they need to hire 1-2 more ppl. The two girls in there were ran off their feet bless em. Very good staff tho especially with their work load
eating is excellent, but unfortunately the service is slow because they are so popular. they now offer online collection, simply eat delivery and go to order. they fight for the walk in order. I waited for 30 minutes to order in the cold. would recommend online reservation until you can improve your walk in the service
Since recently moving to the area we have had several fish chip meals from here. So far always been enjoyable. Last nights mini fish, chips and mushy peas meals were really tasty . Ordered and collected inside each time and service has been quick with food fresh, hot and not greasy.
