Horrible service! We raised our hands several times(trying to get someone to take our order) but the waitresses just kept ignoring us. Finally someone walked pass and we asked her if she could take our order but got responded rudely and impatiently 'CANT YOU JUST WAIT?!' But it was just around 3pm and not too much people dining there at that time, they were not that busy.

Not sure how this name is so famous. The range of choices is very limited. Servings are small. Very overpriced. I don't mind paying good money for good food but the food here is absolutely subpar. Service was very slow/unattentive too. Any Yum Cha restaurant in Sydney would be better than tim ho wan. Don't bother, unless you want terrible 'white-man's' Chinese food.

Its a place you would try and say yes i have try it.Very limit variety. The famous BBQ BUN did live up to its name. Another favourite dish is the deep fried sesame balls w/salted egg inside. Customer service was okay. Not the best and not the worst. The place was clean and tidy.

the food is generally of very good quality and the service generally quick. the ambience is pretty good and the seating generous. the premises are clean. selection is limited but each selection is of good standard. a good choice for dates, family, and easy lunch or dinner. Book a table now

Had visited Tim Ho Wan restaurants in Hong Kong and would say that the flavours here are almost same. Limited menu is the trademark for this restaurant, the fewer the better. But, serving size is small compared to Hong Kong. Very cheap and offers a Michelin experience.

Being Michelin starred, I was excited to try their yumcha but when I did, I was disappointed with the very limited food selection and the small serving. Not really value for money. The taste of the food was not anything special.

Their menu is much shorter than most yum cha places, and all dishes come in tiny little portion. Although the food tastes great and their service is above standard, it may cost you quite much to feed the family here.

If you are in the Burwood area and looking for authentic Chinese food, you must visit Tim Ho Wan. The food is fresh and of high quality. The highlight is the baked pork bun. Great service too! Book a table now
