This restaurant is an excellent spot for burgers and root beer. With many options available, it took a few minutes to decide on the perfect meal for Monday night football. The food arrived quickly and was outstanding! The generously topped burger was expertly assembled and easy to eat, holding together wonderfully with a burst of flavors in every bite. Unlike some overloaded burgers that tend to fall apart and create a mess, this one was impressive. They have a wide selection of beers, but the root beer on tap stole the show—rich and creamy! The venue itself is spacious with impressive decor and plenty of character. While it might be a bit loud for some, our group had no complaints at all.

While some loaded burgers fall appart and become messy to eat, this one did not. Great beer selection but the root beer at the fountain was rich and creamy and won out. It is a large open space with cool decorations and lots of character. Some may find it too loud but nobody complained in our group.
Best Burger in Waco in the most unique location with satisfying frits. Many little things? This place, next to the great American food. Quirky things like fake taxidermy, funny famous people cards for your order name, no windows, huge projectors that show sports and music videos, and up and down. Perfectly cooked medium burger comes standard (only this note of pink) with a juicy medium thickness patty, decent bungalow and quality toppings. You have some interesting home cocktails on the tap, along with a full bar. It is both culinary and experiential, a one-two worth the stop.
The burgers here are amazing. I like the classic with a fried egg on top, but they have a variety of burgers including specialty exotic meats. Their pickles are serve yourself and you can make as many trips to get pickles as needed. They have a variety of flavors that are all very tasty. My favorite thing here is their root beer though. If you're looking for a juicy burger, look no further and stop in at Twisted Root!

This restaurant is a fantastic stop whether you're in town or just passing through. It's conveniently located right off the highway and close to the university. The atmosphere is pleasant, featuring a full bar and four large projection screens on the walls. I really enjoyed the burgers and fries; they were excellent. Plus, there’s a great variety of unique options on their budget menu.
First time at the Waco Twisted Root. Enjoyed the one in Arlington and was another enjoyable meal. I had the turkey burger with goat cheese called The Pilgrim and hubby got Gosh Jam It with goat cheese and jammy onions. Both burgers were tasty. We added a side of fries pickles which were yummy but it was a lot of food! One of my favorite things is the pickle bar. Fabulous pickles!!!
Great experience, service and good hamburgers. The pickle bar was awesome! Diverse flavors. Wheelchair accessible ramp entrance and there's two tables handicap wheelchair accessible in the entrance. If you need help carrying your food tray to your table the staff will friendly help you. You order in the front then pay and finally pick up your food.
I had a fantastic experience at Twisted Root! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and energy of the place. It's amusing to see how each restaurant is uniquely set up. The staff was incredibly friendly, and my wife loved the fantastic margarita the bartender made for her! If I find myself in Waco again, I'll definitely return to this spot!

Fun place to have a burger. Very noisy, though, with huge big screen TVs, one of which was playing 80s music videos (other was ESPN). Food was good. They have various pickles for you to try (bread-n-butter, dill, sweet and spicy, ranch, and nuclear). Dining room is an old 3-story sized building and you can see all the way to the top.
Pleasant work lunch while delivering for a wedding. The atmosphere is definitely a vibe. Fresh cut fries decent burgers. My leftover burger tasted even better cold hours later.
