It 's a pub but mostly a bar. The attention to anyone who wanted table service was meager at best. We watched our server walk out the back door, didn 't come back for 15 min and she walked in with her own food which says a lot about how she feels about what she serves. My biggest complaint was the non cash surcharge they slyly added to the bill. I was handed the bill, $130. I handed over my card and suddenly it was $136 and change. Looking carefully, they added 3.99% fee for using the card instead of cash. It was my first time here and everything was great. A perfect pub experience. The food was pub perfect. We had wings with sweet chili sauce, potato skins, all good but the onion rings were the best I've had! I wish I had asked the young woman who worked behind the bar her name! I didn't but she was superb. Friendly and helpful! Highly recommend Jack Duggans.
Beer is cold, place is clean, food is actually very good. Good burger. Great fries. chicken pot pie . But, the star of my visits is their chicken tenders with fries... Amazing! My first grader LOVES coming in here and sitting down to munch on their chicken tenders with fries. I also get them take out at least once a week. Lovely quaint spot.
A great bar on a street of great bars in a town that loves to drink. Very close to Floral Park LIRR. The menus pretty affordable and covers all the usual bar fare. The air conditioning is a real comfort during the super hot days in months like July. Decent happy hour too
