ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We ordered from here a while ago so I don't remember our entire order, but I remember that we ordered fish fry and some parottas. Both of those dishes were absolutely delicious. The fried rice could improve a little, a little much masala. However, despite just that, everything else is amazing and more importantly authentic! IF YOU WANT TO EAT AUTHENTIC KERALA FOOD for a really great price, this place is worth going to. As authentic as I've ever seen or eaten. They should be proud that they are a Kerala restaurant in the US ?
If you are looking for authentic Kerala cuisine, you must visit Kuttanad Restaurant! My family and I have ordered from them, and I must say that their dishes are perfectly seasoned and flavorful. The beef brandy, beef curry, avial, and biryanis are all amazing! Their poratta is also a must-try - fluffy, not greasy, and delicious. I am sure that once you taste their delicious food, you will keep coming back for more. Not only is the food fantastic, but the staff and owners are incredibly friendly. Make sure to support this neighborhood gem!
the food is spread with such exorbitant amounts of pfefferkorn that it tasted too bitter. I ordered the fish breeding n Chinese potato frit. the fish curry simply burned everything from my neck to not with a spicy kick, but a stingy heat, without other aromes at all. that went down in two bites. there is nothing Chinese in the potato frit it is only kartoffel with a swirling n again a quantity of pfeffer grains (forces a burning feeling). the half of the carrots were cooked completely, the other half was a bit raw.
Great food and customer service. We are from Philadelphia and wants to try kuttanad restaurant on our trip to NY. We ordered porotta, chicken chettinad, kappa biriyani and chicken biriyani. Everything taste good, but porotta is a must try, because it's very soft and really big in size than an average porotta. I think chicken chettinad needs little more salt( may be my personal preference). Overall very nice experience and tasty food with decent quatity and quality. Book a table now
We had a great time dining at this restaurant. All of us loved the yummy food. The Kerala parotta was soft, fresh, and big. All the dishes were tasty, hot, and delicious. The ginger chicken was especially amazing! The kids loved the parotta and butter chicken. The customer service was outstanding. We highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine. Big thanks to Brother Juby for his excellent service.
As a member of my church's missionary program, I thoroughly enjoy working with the team from Kuttanadan Cove. Febin's efficient management and Anish's skill in cooking South Indian dishes transport me back to Kerala, our homeland. Every dish is exceptional! My only suggestion is to consider expanding the restaurant to locations like Hicksville, where there are currently no South Indian dining options available.
Ordered chicken Tikka Masala , Beef fry and porota today. The chicken was not grilled and was slimy . I wont take a chance again here. Beef fry was burnt.Not worth the money ! Be aware !!!

Awesome flavour, reminded me of Kerala. Kappa biryani, chicken stew with appam is my favourite till now. Would love to try more from this restaurant.
