Food and service was way to hit or miss. First experience, great. Zero complaints. So good I wanted to come back next day. Asked if the ribs were any good, ofcourse they said they were. Got them, very terrible. To keep short n sweet Tough and no flavor minus the rays bbq. Ate 2 ribs, gave up. Lady knew I was upset by her “probing questions”. Finally after billing me for everything I was honest after she asked and she basically just laughed in my face and told me to have a good night. Regret tipping. Probably won’t be going back remaining of my vacation. Stick to simple things or don’t waste your time.
The restaurant is on the 2nd floor. The toilet codes are on the wall on the way to the toilet. Service was very attentive and friendly. Food was so-so, I came mainly for the pasta because I really wanted pasta again. But this was just tasteless and filling. My husband had a sandwich which he enjoyed and it looked very good too. We came without a reservation and were looked at askance. Half of the tables were empty and they were not occupied during our stay.
My absolute favorite dinner spot! Local favorite for date night or nice get together with friends! My favorite foods here are the Bruschetta, Calamari and Steak House Pasta, you just can’t beat it!! Not only is the food amazing, but the staff is always friendly and inviting, the view and ambience is great, and this will continue to be one of my favorite places in Kona. Don’t forget to try their house made lemonade as well!!
We sat by the railing so we got a front row view of the ocean, which was spectacular. It was cloudy so it wasn’t too hot either. I got the fish and chips and it was delicious. Highly recommend. The chicken and rib per my husband were outstanding as well. Loved this place!

I would give them a full 5 star for the food ! Pasta was amazing, im a vegetarian so they modified it for me . My husband got a chicken burger and he liked it too.. if youre in kona , do visit this restaurant! Vegetarian options: They can modify the pastas
i went to fosters the other day, the food was so good and tastes really fresh. i had such INCREDIBLE service from my waitress anora. she was very attentive and although she told me she’s a new hire, i wouldn’t have known, for she is so professional.
Always my number one spot to go on the island! We ordered the blackened shrimp and grits and the ahi stir fry. The balance of flavor was on point. Staff was friendly and wait time for food was normal. I’ll be back soon!
I've eaten here twice and been very happy with the food both times. Good fish, hint of pineapple in the coleslaw, good fish sauce.
